moneyQuest

Background

moneyQuest was established in 1989 and were one of the first companies to introduce telephone-based financial advice to the UK market. Scotland’s biggest mortgage broker, they are recognised today as a leading provider of online financial advice to UK customers, having won numerous awards including Best Online Mortgage Broker in the UK and Mortgage Strategist of the Year.

Line were originally appointed to redesign their site in line with their new brand guidelines, however our working relationship has grown to developing the complete back-end content management and admin system that is used to update their site.

What we did

During our initial planning meetings with moneyQuest we identified a number of functional improvements that could be made to the site, both in terms of user experience and business process. This led to us being tasked with developing a new content management and admin system to improve the online offering – pre-qualifying mortgage application enquiries and routing them to the relevant department.

At a basic level the CMS allows role-based access with different permissions for content amendments depending on the user’s status. The admin system allows more complex tasks to be carried out, such as altering the calculations that are used to decide what to do with inbound leads once the data is collected.

Results

In development for almost a year, the new website went live at the end of January 2008. An update on its success will appear here when sufficient data has been gathered.
