Line Digital - an Edinburgh based digital design company - showcased a raft of innovative ways in which the arts and digital sectors can collaborate at the first ever Under the Hood event.
The day long data visualisation event expressed the meaningful relationship between data provided by Edinburgh Festivals Innovation lab and creativity.
Find out moreOn the day the project produced four unique interpretations of the data. Developers Ally Burns and Adam Solymos, both of Line Digital, developed a heatmap visualisation of festivals activity that can be filterable by category. Using Google maps alongside the festivals data to give the user insight into where the most activity happens from day to day, hour by hour.
