New site launched to encourage debate among Scots
ThinkScotland.org was launched today at a press conference in the Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh. ThinkScotland offers a platform to facilitate debate and discussion about the things that matter to the people of Scotland. Its focus is on Europe and what can be done more to engage with the people of Scotland to encourage greater awareness of the role of Europe and how they can influence future policy.
The site, designed and built by Edinburgh-based Line, provides an online forum for a larger public debate over Scotland's role in Europe in the run up to the European MEP elections and regular surveys will be sent to registered users to gauge public opinion on key issues being debated in the European Parliament.
