LongLunch wins award
LongLunch, the non-profit-making design "collective", has won a Scottish Design Award for its promotional material.
Andrew Massey and Ross Laurie, creative director and managing director at Line respectively, co-founded LongLunch four years ago and still work hard running the successful events in their spare time.
LongLunch, now a limited company, organises talks in both Edinburgh and Glasgow by leading graphic and new media designers. The largest event to date has been the sell out talk by the legendary Peter Saville which attracted more than 400 people.
The promotional posters from last year's events, designed by the speakers themselves, won a Scottish Design Award at the last Friday's ceremony in Glasgow. The awards are organised by the Carnyx Group, publishers of The Drum magazine.
