Is it a bird? Is it a plane? … Nope, it’s a Boobybird!
Line launched a new site for the Booby Birds Charity today. The 'Booby Birds' are 20 women who will be skydiving from a plane at 10,000 feet to raise money for breast cancer charities in Scotland. The jump is set for September 8th 2007 and the website is being used to drum up support and donations for the cause. They hope their 360-second jump will raise a total of £400,000.
Each Booby Bird is tasked with raising £20,000 for the charity, and the campaign has already attracted the support of celebrities and TV personalities including Chick Young and Lorraine Kelly.
