Festival time for Line with prestigious new account win

Line have been awarded the three-year contract to design and maintain the Edinburgh International Film Festival's e-commerce website after a four-way pitch.

Line now face the challenge of developing a site that will have to look good as well as be robust enough to cope with the huge number of visitors expected to purchase their tickets online. In addition to this, as is the norm for festivals, the EIFF change their identity each year and the site must therefore be flexible enough to adapt to each new look and feel.

The Edinburgh International Film Festival is now in its 58th year and since 1947 has become established as the true home of innovative and exciting cinema. The longest continually running film festival in the world has presented some of cinema's greatest moments and played host to the world's greatest moviemakers.

Commenting on the win, Ross Laurie, managing director, said, This is an absolutely fantastic win for us. Opportunities to produce work that is both technically sound as well as artistically strong are few and far between. The fact that the site will be viewed by a global audience is the icing on the cake.
