Tennent’s Wunderbar! campaign Flash website launches

Tennent's Lager (part of InBev) today launched their Wunderbar! It could be wurst! campaign website — even though Scotland aren't at this year's world cup, they want to make sure the country enjoys it as much as everyone else!

Line worked with Newhaven Advertising and The Stand Design on the campaign. The website, built entirely in Flash, is a 'virtual biergarten' which the user can take a look around and interact with the locals.

You can chat up Olga the beautiful German barmaid, place a fantasy bet on the world cup matches with Big Hans the baddest bookie in Bavaria, organise an unbiased automated office sweepstake so you and your pals don't fall out, or listen to the latest German tunes with The Klinsmann Quartet's jukebox.

The site is an ongoing campaign during the world cup, so be sure to register for updates whilst you're visiting - you'll get sent postcards as your new friends assemble in the online pub as the world cup gets nearer.

Line's work also included rich media ("Eyeblaster") online adverts and building a standalone downloadable Cuckoo Clock for Macs and PCs which counts down the time to the next football game - alerting you before the kick-off with team members coming out and warming up with a game of keepie-uppy.
